The Joy of Google Photos

Charlie Brock-Lowthian / 22 October 2015

  1. Automatically recognising stuff – so you can search for say ‘sea’ and it will return all your photos that have the sea in them! This is ace.
  2. You can also search for people! If they’ve been tagged once, it auto-recognises them most of the time. Useful!
  3. Stupid gifs! This is always fun.

A little Sunday DIY storage sorting out today. Removal of the 'fitted' storage unit (what a lie, it was a shoddily put together bit of IKEA rubbish with 1 drawer fitted upside down πŸ™ƒπŸ€”πŸ™„) and then the addition of some shelves for shoes and a new hanging rail for coats. Suddenly it all feels less loomy and dark in the entrance hall. The wallpaper has to go! #diysunday #interiordesign #interiors #60shouse #upsidedownhouse
Traditional South African for dinner. Boerewors, chakalaka and mash.
Mince pie. Fueling @s1m0nl doing Christmas decorating.
Yes, I've got a pink bath and a pink loo and a cat who really likes both of them. She has no taste. πŸ˜‚πŸ™€ #catsofinstagram #spectrum #puppycat
Made pumpkin gnocchi. And an almighty mess. Industrial quantities anyone want some fairly solid pumpkin gnocchi?

From flouncy, mauve and lilac florals to a cosy burgundy bedroom. New carpets, curtains and no more artex on the ceiling. It's such a relief to be in our cosy new room rather than sleeping in a cellar. Definitely need a new bed and some furniture however. Am considering a pale pink velvet bed frame. Too much? #house #bedroomdecor #interiors #burgundywalls #allthecolour Massive thanks to these crazy mofos for helping strip wallpaper @kirstylmessenger and @theworldofhilly and also, obviously @s1m0nl for moving all the things around and putting everything together 😍😘❀️
Muppet Christmas Carol. Best Christmas movie ever apparently? @s1m0nl is enjoying it after a super tasty curry and a few cocktails from the ever superb @espensenspirit. I'll let you know in 90 mins. 😏
