Med diet cuts heart attacks – which is pretty interesting BUT I don’t understand why they end off with saying that you should be following a low fat diet given that they’ve just proved that the Med diet is the best and that’s patently not a low fat diet.
Some good diet recipes from the Guardian – I really fancy the achovy & fennel tart. And BBC Good Food have gotten in on the action too – I really like the sound of the chilled pepper soup with crayfish. Perfect for summer. HURRY UP SUMMER!
Besides, given that the ScienceBods have decided that we’ve all been counting calories all wrong anyways, it seems pointless to stick to a calorie controlled diet. Besides, counting calories doesn’t actually allow for good nutrition as this good lady notes, it just assumes that you need to control your intake, never mind that calories from different foods are used up at different rates.
