Intermittent Fasting is a fascinating subject. I tried a 20 hour fast on Sunday and feel it was a success but wouldn’t want to do it on a regular basis. I’m not totally sure it suits my body but it’s definitely worth giving it a try.
The most amazing website for women who are into lifting weights is Stumptuous – it lays to rest a lot of the myths around female weight training and what it does to your body (in my case, stronger, slimmer and more active)
An amusing article about the Paleo diet – where you go back to eating like your ancestors. (Definitely works, no room for croissants or beer, v sad)
I do like the Gubernatrix site and wish I could make it to London for one of her female weight training sessions.
And then the infamous and famous 5*5 training regime. Started by Reg Parks – who used to be Schwarneggers’s coach and before that, an amazing weight lifter in his own regard. There are several links here – bodybuilding.com
And this site is a total shocker from a website look and feel perspective, and the man can waffle, but his 5*5 program is incredible. I don’t think he’s that sure about women weight training tho.
