And no, I didn’t eat the kittens!
I have been watching the Simon Hopkinson shows The Good Cook. And am generally sharing the love of some really awesome looking food, made properly. So when I woke up this morning and before any other thoughts, I realised that we had both asparagus and ham in the fridge and enough eggs for hollandaise. And then I went back to sleep for a bit.
I’m not going to lie to you, this is a bit of a faff to make but it’s definitely worth it.
The recipe is here on the BBC website and I really do recommend it. I’m going to try some more of his recipes during this week and will see how well they work. In the mean time, I have 3 egg whites left and I think I might try some macaroons.
