The craze for BB Creams and what I found

I’ve been experimenting in the more bizarre end of the make up / beauty market for the last few weeks with a purchase of something called BB Cream. This is an eastern beauty product which aims to be so high tech that it replaces moisturiser, foundation, serum and sunscreen. It’s basically your one stop shop for amazing skin.

And I’m quite impressed. You can see above that the coverage is excellent and the colour oxidises into a more natural shade after about 10 minutes of wear. My skin is by far smoother and more luminous than usual after a weeks worth of wear and I’ve definitely gotten more sleep as I spend less time applying make up. All this, for only $10 for the tube!

I have been trialling an inexpensive version made by a brand called Holika Holika – with Marine Collagen and Caviar! I bought it from eBay from this seller  It’s worth being pretty careful who you buy from as apparently there are some very dodgy sellers out there. Other decent brands that I am looking at trying is Missha and Etude House. My friend in Scotland has been trialling a Skin Food one and is very pleased so far. I will definitely be trying some more as I am very pleased with the effect.
