Toooooooooooooo much tapas. This was my first Spanish meal of the weekend – and yes, we were sitting outside. It was gloriously warm and sunny. About 20c.
To be fair, I think he was watching the traffic at the roundabout – someone was attempting to park on the actual roundabout but it might have been the sheer joy of the food. The goats cheese mousse was by far the best thing – light, fluffy and goaty – and combined with the not-too-sweet compote/jam it was just amazing. I’m contemplating trying to make it in the next few weeks to see if it would work as a starter for Christmas or one of my meals with friends.
