It’s looking pretty exciting now. Lots of pictures, lots of photography. I’m just loving it.
Feedback would be much appreciated.
Weekend report – it was very pleasant. Friday night was a trip to the gym, a trip to the ever wonderful Bordeaux Quay for a cocktail and then home for home-made pizza after collecting his lordship from the station. Saturday was a chilled out trip to town for lunch (the Rummer hotel – quite marvellous) and then we went to the Hen & Chicks for a burst of comedy. Stuart Goldsmith opened the show and man! He was excellent, really finely crafted story telling, totally engaging, with some lines that I’m still remembering and sniggering about now. He was followed by the absolutely diabolical Felix Dexter. I have never walked out of a comedy gig before (as much as I wanted to at one of Daniel Kitson’s tester sessions) but we left after about 15 minutes. It was so badly staged, mistimed and his ‘characters’ were stereotypes of of ridiculousness. DULL DULL DULL. We went for a curry instead. It was nice.
