Last time I made my sweetcorn bread, it was similar in nature to a black hole and resembled a doorstop rather keenly. It tasted nice but took quite a lot of effort to chew. Yesterday’s effort was much nicer tho, tasty, light and moist. It made a tasty accompaniment to tomato soup and was very nice this morning with poached eggs on it. Yum.
It is grey here and about to snow again. I am concerned that they will stop the trains again if it snows a lot overnight so will probably drive to work tomorrow. I can’t afford to miss another day of work.
