Glorious cheese

I do love halloumi, it’s definitely up there in my top 10 cheeses.

I think cheese course at Christmas is going to involve welsh cheeses these year, I just need to find a local cheesemonger in Cardiff but I think this may be a winner. They had duck on special in Sainsbury today, but I am torn between that or some really nice beef. Whatever we have, we will have to have yorkshire puddings.

I am currently in the process of making peppermint biscuits (they have already gone wrong in some way) and peppermint bark – but I am very concerned that the chocolate is going to stick to the baking paper. Nerves. I hope they come out well as they will be some of my presents to people.
