Pondering about pansies

I think, given I have about a million of the seeds left, I shall persuade Chris to buy some more compost and plant them in the tubs that he’s got hanging around. Then it can be like Pansy Alley. His little garden is quite boring. I hope I have livened it up big style.

I also hope that I can take some of these plants with me to my next place. Fingers crossed.

I have spent more time surveying the wine at work and deciding what else to buy with my 25% discount. First bottle to try is a Kanonkop Red. And maybe a Beyerskloof Pinotage. And then I saw a really nice looking Barolo. And there are some nice looking whites too.

I am also mostly amazed at how many people drink Pinot Grigio. It must be the national obsession. I am so over it. And the ones they choose are so tasteless. We have a 3 for 2 offer on at the moment(until sometime in June) on pretty much all wines and I am amazed at how many people come in and buy the same three bottles with their discount. How BORING!

  1. wow you get kanonkop there? It’s awesome. All of them. The pinotage is especially amazing but the kadette is lovely and well priced. Well, in SA at least.
